If we say, we act responsibly it is not just empty rhetoric. Throughout many years of business experience we have identified that taking responsibility for our operations is a key driver for long-term success - for us as well as for our customers. Therefore, Corporate Social Responsibility is deeply implement in our philosophy.

We start by creating close relationships with our suppliers. Together with them we strive to continuously improve their social and environmental performance. All suppliers regularly undergo social and environmental audits, conducted by our in-house auditors. In addition, we appoint third-party audits in order to ensure compliance with relevant certification and monitoring schemes.

Since 2010 we have been a member of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). In the scope of the framework all our suppliers regularly undergo social audits and are assessed against the principles laid down in the BSCI Code of Conduct. 

The building collapse of Rana Plaza in 2013 shocked the industry and people around the world. We acted in joining the ACCORD on Building and Fire Safety in Bangladesh to do our best in ensuring that such tragedies will not repeat. 

We support extensive measures and the review of our suppliers, in the area of building safety, fire protection and electrical safety. After all, these have a direct impact on the health and safety of the people working there.

We also offer products which are compliant to the Detox-programme. The exclusion of APOs and PFCs from all production processes is an important goal in order to preserve the environment - we have committed to contribute to the accomplishment of that goal.

We are not just demanding from our suppliers to start being compliant to Detox at once, but we are acting together with them to ensure that their environmental performance is subject of constant improvement.

Following our goal to ban harmful substances from our production, the majority of our products is already compliant to the Oekotex-100 standard. 

It is important for us to deliver clean clothing to our customers - both for the sake of the environment and the health of consumers.

When it comes to sustainable sourcing of organic fibres the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an exemplary framework. We are proud to offer products which are compliant to the regulations thereof and do our best in extending our respective product range.

For our customers, which are part of the Cotton made in Africa initiative, we are experienced in dealing with respective cotton from the sub-saharan region.

The Better Cotton Standard System is a holistic approach to sustainable cotton production. Targeting social, economic and  environmental issues the system is broad and complex. However, we are pleased to offer respective products to our customers.
